Description
The project aims to explore quantum phenomena in photon-photon and photon-matter interferences with hyper-entanglement of single photons with position, momentum, and polarization using nanosecond gated single photon camera in quantum imaging platforms. Coincidence imaging experiments, which are discriminated from classical imaging, are performed for fast Bell state measurement, quantum tomography, remote detection, high dimensional quantum information, and imaging of birefringent patterns. New quantum multi-dimensional metrology is anticipated by breaking classically limited imaging capability. A qualified and preferred candidate would have expertise and experience in single photon measurement, entangled biphoton source, spontaneous parametric down-conversion, coincidence detection/imaging, gated photon counting camera, Bell's inequality measurement, quantum tomography, orbital angular momentum, and quantum metasurface.
